This week I wanted to just share my very first card I made with my very first stamp set from TAC (The Angel Company) I must say I was so proud of this card when I made it 12 years ago. It is amazing how much our styles change and all the new things we learn throughout the years.

Here is a card I really enjoyed making and happy with how it turned out.

The stamped image I used is from Penny Black "Fish Dreams", colored in with Copic Markers, background paper (unknown paper company), brads from Bazzill and cardstock from MFT (My Favorite Things).

This week it is all about using 3 designer papers

This was a bit of a challenge for me. I just took bits and pieces off of three different pages to create this card. The background, saying and border. I used a 6X6 paper pad from Carta Bella called Beautiful Moments Designed By: Carina Gardner.I also used some MFT cardstock.

Pumpkins Made Out Of Dryer Vent Hose

I made these at the craft club I belong to.

These were very simple to make

and makes cute Fall decorations.

These were made out of different sized dryer vent hoses. They are held together with wire. Then we just spray painted them with some orange spray paint, (make sure it is primer and paint), then we just cut some branches and glued it in the middle, tied some ribbon around it.

Now this is simple and fun to make with your family.

Here is my card for the week

I used a PSX leaf stamp, Color Box chalk inks, heat embossed the leaves and word, then I used Dream Impressions cardstock (No Longer In Business) and some red organza ribbon from my stash.

This was a very easy clean and simple card.

ABC Challenges: ABC44 Sympathy Cards

First of all I would like to say it is so good to be back . I took time off from the Design Team to spend time with my kids and Summers are always hard. Now I got my one son in college and two back in high school. My daughter is a Senior this year and my youngest son is a Sophomore. How time flies, Summer is over, back to school. My kids are getting older and I just can't believe in a short period of time my 2 youngest will be off to college in no time at all.

Ok now back to ABC Challenges:

Here is my card for this weeks Challenge and it was a challenge for me, it is my very first sympathy card.

On this card I used a new technique for me, I stamped my flowers with Acrylic Paint 

(Folk Art -Metallic Pearl White), Amuse Satin Pebble Grey Ribbon, Stampin' Up punches, Black and White MFT (My Favorite Things) cardstock and I used a Sympathy Stamp set I got in Seattle a few years back, but no name on it. The saying inside says:

"Our heartfelt and Most caring Thoughts are with you"

Here is my CAS card for this week.

I used Marvy ink pads and stippled the gras and sky, copic markers for the bear and log, the grass stamps are from Stamp Scapes and bear from Sutter Stamps, a local company here in Montana,

Sentiment is also from Sutter stamps and I used Dream Impressions cardstock.

Here is my creation for this week.

 

I used a stamp set by The Angel Company (no longer in business), Dream Impressions cardstock (no longer in business), Colorbox Chalk Ink (Blue), Versa Mark ink pad, some blue Pebbles chalk and Recollections star brads.

 

 



My Son's Big Day!

I just wanted to share a picture of my

2nd oldest son Richard who just graduated with honors.

I am such a proud Mama.

Soon to be a student of Montana University, woohoo!

This was such a big accomplishment for my son,

there were days I didn't think we would make it through

Grade School or even Middle School.

Thanks to all of his Special teachers he made it!

Here is my card for this week.

It's a very clean and simple card. I used a stamp set from "The Angel Company" they are no longer in business, Amuse cardstock, Spellbinders nestabillities and some pattern paper from Colorbok  Natural Expressions 6X6 paper pad.

 

 

I am excited to see what creations you come up with, using this weeks sketch.

This week I used Stampin' Up cardstock, image and sentiment. On my background I stamped it with a Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card background stamp (Geologic) and then ran it through my Epic 6 with an embossing folder to give it some texture and added some satin ribbon. Very clean and simple this week.

Here is my card for this week and I used Ribbon, Pearls and Glitter.

This week my card was simply made with chipboard, Graphic 45 Papers (Secret Garden), Tim Holtz easel Die and some Stickles on the flower on the side and the writing on the front of the card is traced with stickles too.  I went to a weekend retreat last weekend and this was a card class I took from one of the Ladies there and I just loved the idea and plan to make more for Mother's Day.

On my card I used a Cool Ranch Doritos bag to make my blue butterflies

and my hexagons are punched out from a magazine page.

I used the Stampin' Up Honeycomb embossing folder, creative memories hexagon punch, Martha Stewart butterfly punches, ribbon from stash, Bazzill cardstock and pearls from Recollection's.

I decided on a baby card. I used an Inkadinkdo cover all background stamp, stamped with pink versa fine and clear heat embossed it. I framed my saying with some spellbinder dies, embossed the sentiment (generic saying set) and added ribbon,
